I bought 'Sirius' for a combination of cruising and fishing around the Solent. She's based at Hamble Point Marina where I work (couldn't afford it otherwise). I'm looking forward to my first summer with her.

We're looking at re-covering all the cushions as soon as I recover from buying the boat. The helm station could do with a bit of tidying up where it looks like people have whittled holes using a spoon. I've had a preliminary go at rewiring to the point where I think the boat's safe and I'm sure we'll think of loads more to do. On the whole, I'm really happy with my new boat now she has a decent engine and half the fun is in the ongoing little projects.
